WWII USAAF AirCrew Wings by Wallace Bishop

Australian made full size 3" Aircrew Wings.
Wings are in excellent un-cleaned condition, and have patinated to a lovely "silver grey" colour, fully maker marked to the rear as follows.

Excellent pair of WWII USAAF full size 3" pilots wing by L.G.B in sterling silver.
The wings are in very good/ excellent condition, with some very minor knocks to the front, hardly noticeable and does not detract. The pin is a little mis-shaped,and could be straightened if desired, the roller catch is full functional, the wings are marked L.G.B. Sterling at the rear within the shield.
Beautiful pair of wings, by a much sought after maker.

Beautiful set of sterling silver full size wings, by Josten, A very scarce maker. Wings are in excellent un-cleaned condition, apart from one tiny knock to the upper wing area, L/H side.(see photo) Pin back fitting. The roller catch is working fine with no issues, pin is working fine, and the wings are fully maker marked, sterling marked to the reverse, within the shield.
Excellent set of wings, from a very rare maker, that would be difficult to upgrade

US Jet Pilots Knife.

U.S. Jet Pilots knife, made by Ontario and dated 9- 1988. on the pommel.
Knife is in excellent/mint condition, with no damage to the stacked leather washers, that form the grip.
Blade retains 90% of it's parkerized finish, with slight loss to the "high spots"
The cross guard & pommel are in excellent condition
with no damage, and the pommel top, retains 99% of it's black painted finish.
The scabbard again, is in excellent order, the leather work remains supple, with no damage, the stitching, and rivets, are in good order.
The Stone pocket, and keeper press studs are again fully working, with no issues, the Norton Pike stone is in excellent condition, and shows little, if any use.

US Pilots flashlight No-6

U.S. Pilots, Flashlight No-6 type A-6B by the Yates MFG. Co. Chicago 10. ILL.
Flashlight is in excellent working order, no damage to the aluminium body, spring clip, and all knurled moving parts, are working, and it retains it's "para cord" lanyard.
The knurled front collar, can be swivelled, to show a red, or white beam, and the knurled top collar, can be rotated to keep the beam permanently on, or the tip can be pressed, with the thumb, repeatably to use as a signal.
Rare vintage piece of "survival" US Air Force equipment, which don't turn up very often.

Polaroid 1068 Goggle Kit.

Pre-war Polaroid goggles, complete set with all lenses, instruction pamphlet, and spare tip for the headstrap.
This is the first complete as purchased set, I have seen in a long time, Set includes 4 green anti glare lenses.
2 Amber lenses. 1 clear lens (1 fitted) The cloth envelope,(always missing!) and the spare metal tip for the headstrap, in case you have to cut any surplus from the back strap.
The frame is in very good condition, still supple, the chamois backing is in overall very good condition, some slight soiling, but does not detract, and some slight lifting of the chamois leather, to the lower edges of the frame.
The goggle strap is in excellent condition, with the elastic side adjusters, retaining excellent elasticity, the cotton strap is in very good condition, all stitching intact, and the buckles retain all of their factory grey paint finish..

As usual with the box for these kits, it has suffered from the ravages of time! the box has moisture damage to the cardboard inner body, which has slightly warped it, however the outer leatherette covering is in very good condition, with little or no loss to the finish, the snap closure works fine, the embossed logo to the front lid, has faded, but is still legible, the flock interior finish to the box, is in good order, as is the cotton wallet for the spare lenses.
Instruction book, is complete, with no rips, or tears.
An excellent Complete 1068 Goggle Kit.

A-10A USAF Summer Flying Helmet. & A-1 Visor.

Helmet is in very good used condition, with an overall slight soiling to the main body, but with no rips or tears to the fabric, velveteen covered webbing chinstrap is in good order, with quick release buckle, and press stud fittings in working order. The helmet visor has the name "Higgins" inked on it. the earcups have been modified with male snaps/press studs, to enable a Type A-1 visor to be fitted, both inner "doughnuts" are in very good condition, with no issues, the goggle straps and snaps are both in working order, and a pair of ANB-H-1 receivers, with wiring loom, have been fitted.
An A-1 Visor has been fitted to the helmet, it is in very good condition, with no rips/tears, both snaps are fine, the adjusting buckle, has some slight loss to the plating, other than that, it has no issues, An M-5/UR lip microphone completes the set up.
A very nice late war "rig" for the Pacific Theatre.

Type A-9 Summer Flying Helmet.

USAAF A-9 flying helmet, helmet is in "combat used" condition, with an overall slight soiling to the cotton body, cotton body, is in very good condition, with no rips or tears to the body, the helmet has been "rigger" modified, with the fitting of two leather ear cups, for a pair of receivers to be fitted, and snap fasteners, to enable an oxygen mask to be used.
Leather chin strap is in very good condition, apart from some loss to the fleece covering. all hooks and goggle straps are present, and both rayon silk draw strings are present, fleece ear pads again, have some loss to the fleece, through usage, but overall are in good condition. press studs do have a build up of Verdigris, which would clean off if desired.
A pair of R-14 receivers, are installed, but are two different makers, (not unusual, if one failed, to only replace the faulty one) and complete with wiring loom, and fitted with a PL-54 plug.
A good combat used WWII helmet.

LUFTWAFFE FIRST PATTERN BUCKLE CIRCA 1935

First pattern Luftwaffe "droop tail eagle" aluminium belt buckle, buckle is in very good condition, with minor wear to the "high spots" on the buckle, but other than that, the pebbled finish is excellent, leather tab is maker marked ----------? Ludenscheid, and dated 1935,other side of the tab is stamped ---------? 1Komp.
Brown leather belt is stamped RUVO 751 Groupon?
on the tongue, belt is 31" in length, with a steel keeper.
Excellent Early Luftwaffe Belt and Buckle.
