RAF WWII Officers Side Cap

Here we have a private purchase RAF Officers side cap, made from Barathea Material, in excellent condition, The Officer served in Burma during WWII, and i presume he had this made then.
It is complete with Officers Crown& Eagle insignia, which also has the backing plate in situ.
The sweatband is of blue cotton material, and the cap is lined in a Silver/Grey cotton/Rayon material. No 'Hook & Eyes' have been used to keep the "Ear warmers" in place, they have been sewn into place.
No size is indicated on the cap, but it is 10 1/2" long.
