*RARE* RAF MOSQUITO FLYING Boots

Here we have a pair of WW2 issue 'Mosquito' Boots, Size 9. The boots are in superb, used condition, and entirely complete. They are unlined green suede, with leather soles and heels, and feature drawstring ties at the top of the uppers to prevent insect attacks. Whilst the boots were mainly issued to groundcrew, they became very popular with RAF pilots operating in the MTO as they were comfortable and easy to fly in. A.M. Stamped to the inside. One small area of damage at the inside top of the L/Boot where the drawstring tie has pulled through the tape (see photo) other than this, no further issues.
