Murphy Combat Knife

Made by the Murphy knife company, this David Murphy hand made 'Replica' is made in exactly the same way as his father made them in WWII.
Made in and around 1988 it bears all the characteristics of the wartime knife, as does the sheath. The Knife and the sheath are in untouched mint condition, as is the display box, the original pamphlet and patch are included, and apparently only 67 combat knives were accounted for and prices were around $1500 for original's at the time of printing the pamphlet in 1989!
As collectors, we all strive to own original pieces, but the chances of owning an original Murphy Combat knife are pretty slim! in all my years of collecting i have never come across one.
