USAAF A-8 summer flying helmet.

RARE A-8 flying helmet, in almost mint condition, showing very little, if any use.
Helmet, is cotton, Khaki coloured, unlined, with no provisions, for communications equipment.
The chestnut brown unlined chincup, again, is in almost mint unused condition.
Three goggle straps, are fitted to the rear, and the two snaps, show a little paint loss to them.
The helmet has a surname, and service number written inside, Schab 8?6725930 first digit, is a little hard to make out. (see photo)
Both rayon draw strings, are present. size Medium.
