Remington P-13/14 Bayonet & Frog. Home Guard Issue
Excellent P-13 Bayonet, by Remington, 1917 dated, with green painted scabbard, by Jewel dated 1918.
Bayonet is in excellent condition, with 90% of it's parkerized factory finish to the blade, riccaso is stamped with the U.S. flaming bomb, and the acceptance mark, with a number 4.
The other side, is stamped Remington 1917.
Grips are in excellent untouched condition, with both screw bolts in place, and undamaged, pommel & cross guard retain 99% of their "blueing" and the press stud works smoothly.
The Scabbard is in excellent condition, and clearly marked "Jewel 1918" it retains 95% of it's green painted finish, the top chape retains all of it's green painted finish, the bottom one retains around 55%, the leather is in excellent condition, with no issues and all stitching intact.
The Leather "Home Guard" frog is in excellent condition, and clearly marked " J&A Hillman Dudley 1940" to the rear, the front is marked with a broad arrow and 88. Riveted & stitched, grained leather, with some loss to the stitching where it forms the belt loop, but does not detract, the "keeper" loop has lost some of it's finish to the front, but is sound and rot free.
